difference betewen HTTP PROXY and WEB PROXY

what is the difference beteewn web proxy and http proxy

I think:
Web-proxy is the old http proxy package based in squid technology
Proxy-test is a new propietary Mikrotik advanced http proxy technology

This reply your question?
Can a MT Guy confirm this?

Alessio is correct.

  1. Using ‘web-proxy’ package, you have two proxies:
one ‘/ ip web-proxy’ - old proxy that supports caching,
another MikroTik ‘/ ip proxy’ - proxy that does not support caching.

  2. Using ‘web-proxy test’ packakge, you have one proxy,
‘/ ip proxy’ - MikroTik developed proxy, that supports caching, web-proxy test is on development stage now.

 Thanks to be clear, good work but i have problem with proxy-test and HTTPS pages?
In hotspot i dont check transparent proxy in the profile, i do redirect in dst-nat to all port 80 to the 8080, my workaround now is put an Accept chain to a address-list before the redirect and put in this list the subnet /24 of the HTTPS pages of banks, intranets, etc… but is very work…
What need to do to solve this problem?
Thanks and regards!
