Differences between QCA9557 and QCA9558

Please tell me what is the difference between QCA9557 and QCA9558? Great thnx!

Take a look at this article:
https://wikidevi.com/wiki/Qualcomm_Atheros

Thank you, I have looked at this site. There is only one difference indicated in MIMO. I would like to know all the differences between these SOC. Thank U.

Living creature knows any more differences?

P.S. It is strange that the developer again pupated and ignores customers …

Why don’t you ask Qualcomm and see what they say?
Those products specs are not listed on their site. And the specs are listed as unknown on the wiki, so most probably the specs are NOT public.
So maybe there is a NDA in place regarding this chips and MT is not allowed to give you any specs?

Of course, I will write to QUALCOMM. But why(?) MikroTik developers not list these differences in terms of SOC significance for their devices, it is certainly not contrary to the NDA!

It depends on what’s written in there. If the specs are not public, than that’s it, and the manufacturer is the only one that can decide that.
I work with a lot of chips which include such rules in the NDA. Some of them don’t exist at all, even if you ask the manufacturer and show them a picture of it, with their logo on the package
So there’s nothing unusual here.
You know the architecture is single core mipsbe, backwards compatible with the older Atheros chips (we actually run the same firmware on them) , and the WiFi is a/b/g/n with 2 vs. 3 chains. More than that is probably not public.
RAM is external, clock speed is known, at least two gigabit ethernet interfaces are present.
More than that is of no importance to the mere mortals (but I would assume it is actually the exact same core and features, with minor differences in the wireless part, otherwise it wouldn’t use the same 955x series number, as the last number usually indicates a chip subvariant, with differences in terms of included peripherals).

Why do you care about the details of the differences between the two SoCs? Does this affect your use of RouterBoard products somehow?

For all who are interested, I found :sunglasses: an official response, see the attachment

Thank U.

cool. thanks for table.

Sorry for necro, but does anyone have a copy of the above quoted attachment?
Unfortunately, and until that’s a glitch, that original file does not exist anymore here at Mikrotik forum.

Same, can you re-post this?
