Direct link tyo Dude Map

Hi. I’d like to be able to set up Dude so that a user could login into a web browser, and go straight to a specific map (via a URL shortcut). Is that possible?

Seems each time, I NEED to log in, and then I have to reselect the map each time.

Thanks to any and all replies.

Garth

Yes, as many have requested before. I dont want to display all my Dude data. That amounts to a security violation. But, if certain entities would like to monitor a specific page I have designed just for their connections/devices, it would be nice to send them just a URL to go to, just for their map.

They dont need to wade though the maze of options presented with the standard web interface (which isnt working now anyway as far as I can tell). This also is related to the concept of group based access/permissions, to view just a subset of the entire Dude system. If there was group based permissions, I would accept a Dude client based solution, but the notion of a web browser is very desirable. I have had individuals, who had read-only permissions to my system, show me my Dude maps on their IPhones, Androids, and they were ecstatic that they had visibility to the network anywhere they went. That was nice, and a network administrators nightmare. Who knows what they were able to display to all their buddies drinking in a bar! Security Violation!
I think this has been requested before, but it doesnt hurt to remind–to whom it may concern:sunglasses:

Hi, did you find an answer for what you were looking for? i need to do the same.
