Disabled Radius Server

In my configuration, the MT (using hotspot) is connected with radius server through an unreliable link. Sometimes, it will break for 10 minutes.

After that break (radius server can ping MT again), the hotspot user cannot login and with reply message “radius server is not responding”. If I disable and enable this radius server through winbox, the hotspot user can login again immediately. If I do not touch it through Winbox, the hotspot user can login again 10minutes or more later.

I guess MT treated the radius server is disabled after link broken. I wonder if there is any timing I can set to make MT can talk to the radius server again automatically without need to wait for more than 10 minutes.

Are you sure that the IP isn’t changing during this disconnect? E.g that you receive a new IP from a DHCP-server. In that case it seems reasonable that the radius server might be unavailable until the ARP-cache at the radius server has timed out
