Hi all
The official documentation recommends that you disable l3 hardware offloading prior to any changes being made to configs under bridge or vlan and then re-enable after. I have two questions regarding this:
- Does that also include something as simple as changing the name? For example, re-naming a VLAN interface. Technically this constitutes as a change in the vlan configuration.
- What happens if you don’t do that? Human error for example. You made your changes but forgot to disable prior to it? And is recovery simply issuing a disable and then re-enable after? Or its start over?
If device types matter, this is with the CRS line of switches.
