disconnected from wifi when using winbox on new router

I just setup a brand new RB4011iGS+5HacQ2HnD-IN wifi router. I upgraded the OS to 6.45.6 (stable).

My laptop is connected to the 5GHz channel and works fine until I attempt to connect to the router with winbox (3.19). After logging in with winbox I have about 15 seconds before my laptop gets disconnected from the wifi. I’m not making any changes to the router through winbox; just viewing various screens. This same thing happens when connected to the 2GHz channel too.

Is there a known issue or is this a bad router? Any suggestions on configuration changes that could solve this?

I previously had the RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router setup for about 7 years and never had an issue like this in that entire time.

So you are disconnected from the WiFi as soon as you enter your router with winbox? Otherwise it works fine?
