Most of the time router is not allowing a user to connect to it . My router is 2116 v7.14
what could be the issue ? i have faced this issue multiple times. is there any solution ?
most of my 2116 Access routers are facing this issue . The PPPoE users are running fine, the router is running online but it disconnects the login user after 2-3ms

It's not worth testing such an old version, especially given the serious security bugs it has...
No one's working on 7.14 anymore.
Have you made Winbox publically available? In that case the user is the issue.
Better use VPN to connect to the router, block on the WAN interface as much as possible (or better, accept as little as possible).
Any reason not using current LTS (V7.20.8)?
