Hi.
We have a few CPEs out there that we changed the MAC on, but would now like to put them back to the hardware MAC set on the cards.
It seems ethernet ports can have the MAC reset by /interface ethernet reset-mac , but I can see no way to do this with wireless cards.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

Maybe /interface wireless reset-configuration?

Hi.
I guess I should’ve said “without losing the wireless connection and therefore needing a visit to fix”!
Cheers.
just write a quick command line to set it up the way you want, and then schedule it to run after resetting the config.

I guess that’s a good (if slightly risky) work araound - I think I’ll ask the MK guys to add a reset-mac feature to wireless however.
You never know…
Cheers.
