I was wondering why I can create “Virtual AP’s” and I must create a single “real AP” in the radio interface. Is there a way to disable the use of the “real AP” in the radio device?
I find it makes the configuration hard to understand for people. If you have 5 virtual AP’s and one “real AP” that means you have one 5 AP’s which are basically all the same and one odd one out. Also the configuration of this “real AP” is entangled with all the radio settings (frequency and such) which also apply to all “virtual AP’s” in the web UI.
