I am using User Manager (UM) for WiFi hotspots. One of my customers now have special requirement - users of UM’s profile1 should have different firewall rules than users of profile2. Is there a way to distinguish UM profile in RouterOS firewall?
There is a mention of an IP Pool for UM User here: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/User_Manager/Users I can’t find it in UM interface, there is just IP and it is not very usefull. The best option should be IP pool assignment for each profile.
