DLI Web Power Switch Wireless Connection issues.

I am a big fan of webpower switches for cycling locked up modems. They save me from so many phone calls.

Digital Loggers has put out a webpower switch with a wireless interface.

Just out of curiosity… I put the DLI on my wireless network. (Just for proof of concept.)
Now I also have a Domotz sitting on my network that will send me alerts if a device goes off line. The DLI seems to drop off line long enough for the Domotz to alert me kind of frequently.
So i added a netwatch to ping the DLI every 10 seconds. Sure enough my log is filling up with messages.

So just now… I ran a ping from terminal against the DLI.

Something is not right.

I was using a Ruckus WAP before I started running the cAP AC at my office. I never got a notification of a disconnect UNTIL I moved over to using the Mikrotik cAP AC. The cAP is cap-man mode with local forwarding and client to client forwarding turned on.

Any ideas?

So caps-man doesn’t consider the unit disconnected.
