DNS Failure issue

Hello All,

Last night I installed 3.13 version with level 6 Licence. I tried to configure DNS with ip dns set primary-dns=202.153.32.3 secondary-dns=202.153.32.2 allow-remote-requests=yes But I am unable to resolve http://www.yahoo.com from MT terminal.External DNSs are working fine.I m getting " invalid value for argument address " error. I tried to ping http://www.yahoo.com from tool ping its pingimg. My clients cant use MT as their primary DNS server.Pls somebody help me.thanx in advance

http:// = protocol
www.yahoo.com = host

Ping the host only… It works, really…

Thanx Its a mistype actually I did it with www.yahoo.com

Are those 2 dns servers you listed recursive for the ip address of your mikrotik?

for instance, can you do a nslookup from behind that router and get a reply? ie, nslookup www.yahoo.com. 202.153.32.3
