According to the article on address lists it does allow a DNS name to be added. What is not answered:
- How often is the hostname checked for changes? Is it the TTL of the hostname?
- Where do I see what the router has acquired for the IP for that entry and when it was last updated?
- Is there a log topic concerning this activity that I can monitor?
My use case: Allowing a remote router on a dynamic IP to connect to OVPN service. I am using the hostname of the remote router as provided by the cloud DDNS service.
