DNS Issues with Primary/Secondary

Hi all,

I am running an RB3011UiAS with a fairly complex setup. But I have a basic problem. When running IPCONFIG /ALL the DNS addresses that are being returned is 10.0.0.1 (primary) and 10.0.0.3 (secondary). I need ONLY 10.0.0.3 to appear.

10.0.0.1 - Is the router mentioned above.
10.0.0.3 - Is the DNS server on my active directory deployment.

Due to the setup above ADUC is now running with a 10-20 second delay on every transaction. This was not a problem in the past so not sure why this has suddenly become a thing.

I have a DHCP client with peer DNS turned off. The only DNS server set in the system is 10.0.0.3 I am not sure why 10.0.0.1 keeps getting assigned.

Not sure if anyone has any ideas?

Your problem description is a bit incomplete.
Probably you are running a DHCP server for your client?
Make sure you have the checkmark in NO DNS on the page IP->DHCP server->Networks->your network
