DNS issues

Hello,

I have a mikrotik box doing NAT,

I put DNSs that my provider gave me, so I don´t have a dns server and The cache size is 10 MB

Today a customer call up because some web pages did not opened, then I asked to try by just putting the ip address of a web page instead of the domain name, then he was able to surf in that page.

I made a ping to both dns servers and they responded, I logged in the mikrotik machine and I made a ping but I got response just from the ip, no from the domain name.

I am sure the DNS servers of my provider are OK because I can surf from other machine not passing through the MT box.

So I had to restart the mikrotik to solve the problem. I am having this problem occasionally since previous mikrotik versions. Now I have v2.9.27 version.

Dos anybody have the same problem?

Cache sounds rather large at 10MB. To troubleshoot try something smaller e.g. 2048KB.
