Does Equal Sharing queue affect LOCAL throughput?

Here is my setup:

High site- RB600 with 5GHz Sector Antenna.
RB600 has Equal Sharing Queue set up
and it also has userman and routing etc.
At the high site there is a linux box that i am using as a file server (like a file repository)

Client side

The question is: Does Equal Sharing queue affect LOCAL throughput from High site to Client side?
The max speed i get when i download a file from the file server over the wireless link is around 10mbs.
Can this speed be increased? if yes, then how?
Should i change my sectors to airmax and use rockets? or is the Equal Sharing queue affecting the speed?

my requirements are the same as the poster’s in this forum: http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/why-queues-rule-limits-local-sharing-speed/43715/1
