Does not crash but does not work

Personal I’m a simple problem but very strange.

Use as a Routerboard swith a long time in some time now it just stops responding, it does not crash, but no way I can communicate with her, whether the port is connected to it.

One example, did the Netwatch to realize that when it is not ping on a point she makes a beep, to see if it’s catching, yet it does the beep is still on and is not responsible for any ethernet.

The processor is only 3% of use, is little, I did register logs remotely to find out, what did not indicate anything.

All lans are in bridge mode, since I put in all possible ways to bridge, even if this happens, time is a week but still does.

Before I used a Routerboard RB450, I thought it was her problem, now to using a RB493AH doing the same thing. Have I changed font, now I’m using a 12v 5A.

To resolve the moment I’m using the watchdog, directed to an ip, when she misses it restarts, and then back to work normally.

Someone has been there and picture what can be?

Hi, i had similar problem, and until now i didnt found what was the cause.
The only way i have found was to add my mac to the arp table, and put the bridge arp in “reply-only”.

Until now it´s working well.
btw, version 3.27, rb411a with radio and ether1 on the bridge.

Regards,

Jorge

The worst part is that I tried, but I have many points in bridge, for some time now it’s happening to.

But, I will dynamically route points. Place the freeradius to work with a manager that I found interesting and we’ll see where it goes.

But anyway thanks for the tip friend!

I am exactly in the same situation than mattana and using the same “solution”, the watchdog. In addition to changing the supply, the firmware and the Routerboard I also suppose You have changed the cables (but all the ethernet ports die?).

What about the temperature?

I tried with other routerboards, but the problem continues, all with low temperature, the problem is that my bridge is very long and with different routes and different costs.
