also tried it and can confirm it is not working at all. A few users have asked about the current status, but didn’t get an answer from Mikrotik.
No it’s not working.
Frankly at this point stable probably means “stable from invasion from Russia” Hopefully Putin can change management when he finally invades this failed former soviet state.
What a joke. Shows green on the protocol status page, yet clearly isn’t implemented!

That is a interesting link, curious how RIP could be working when you can’t even add network statements.

PIM is implemented but currently broken due to some regressions and mikrotik is fixing them now.
RIPv2 and RIP-ng is implemented but the configuration is different. ‘networks’ configuration is replaced with ‘redistribute’ and ‘out-filter-chain’. RIPv1 is removed for now.
Have they fixed it?
Don’t believe so..Too bad though..![]()

Maybe not so stable from invasion like I first speculated. I wonder if ruskis would fix PIM first?
It still doesn’t work on RB5009 v.7.1.3 ![]()
Curious to know where PIM is in the order of priority for ROSv7 development?
Tried to use it on ROS 7.3beta37 to support BUM replication & VxLAN interop with Arista - it’s definitely still non-functional.
No, still not working.
Interfaces exist for a couple minutes after bootup but then disappear and cannot bring them back without another reboot.
Has PIM been fixed in latest versions of ROS 7? 7.4, etc..?
