I have an RB411A which is being fed with 26V.
If the voltage suddenly changes to 30V, the RouterBoard shuts down - that much is obvious.
Now, suppose the voltage goes back down gradually from 30V back to 26V, will the RB come back on line?
Or will the RB need to be restarted for it to see the voltage is back to normal?
Hi, after Over voltage condition not need power disconnect - Rb turn on immediately when voltage drop below ~28V. After undervoltage condition you need 40-50 sec. power diconnect ( until power capacitors are discharge ).
I ended up doing some testing. If voltage is too low, the routerboard shuts down or acts strange. When voltage is increased, the routerboard returns to normal operation without a power cycle. However, sometimes it needs to be soft rebooted to become fully functional.
