Does the R5H work with the XR5 in Turbo (40 MHz) mode?

Can a R5H radio in Station mode connect to a XR5 radio in AP mode that is running on 5 GHz-Turbo?

I always assumed the answer to be “yes” but recent experience shows otherwise.
