Do we need an atheros based network or will it all work with the PRISM cards for WDS? If it doesn’t matter is there any pro/cons with sticking with our prism based WDS wireless network vs Atheros WDS?
Jsut curious maybe I am setting it up wrong. Any remarks would be very helpful thanks.

as far as I know WDS was proposed first time by Prism, so it should be able to…
For us, WDS worked on Prism up to and including 2.9.5. Beginning with 2.9.6, WDS stopped. We e-mailed support@mikrotik.com and have gone back and forth on this forever. They insist WDS should work on Prism, but I can’t make it. If I upgrade above 2.9.5, no WDS comes up. I downgrade to 2.9.5 and all is good again.
We’re about to give up and replace our Prism APs with Atheros APs. No other choice…

Well? Has someone got WDS working on OS’s greater than 2.9.5 - with Prism. I cant with 2.9.12/13
