If I have beta7 on a RB112 or RB533c if I want to downgrade to earlier beta (say Beta6) or to a 2.9.41 can I just copy the single upgrade package to the routerboard and do a system restart just like how I upgraded them i the first place or does it need to be done a different way?
Thanks - never had to downgrade before but I want to know how if I need to.

Copy the file in, go to system/packages and select ‘Downgrade’

FYI, your wireless interface will be disabled after the downgrade, learned that the hard way.

My opinion is the best and pretty much only way to get real world results is by testing in a real world environment.
I’m sure all this stuff works great in the lab, but 300ft on a tower in the middle of the city you find out what it is really made of…
