Dear Mikrotik engineer,
I have installed ROS to the our new server DELL 2950, but the ROS cannot drives NetXtreme II BCM5708 Gigabit Ethernet on the DEll 2950. Thinking about the next version ROS can update drives to drive BCM5708?

you should send a supout.rif file to support
we have same problem.
I was wondering if the the driver is available or not? we have a 2950 we want to use as our router.
how is the comparison with Mikrotik RB1000?
of course we can get 10GB ports on 2950 and rb1000 is 4pcs of Gigabit only but if anyone has compared this before, please inform us.
Thanks
We have many RB1000 and a PE2950. The RB1000 works great and has a great price point. They’re really for two different applications.
The PE2950-III we have has two 10GB adapters in the 8x PCIe slots. It’s configured as a basic firewall with 44 rules, no NAT, no queues, connection tracking is enabled. Our current daily peak average is about 1.7Gbs TX on the outside interface. During peaks the dual quad-core CPUs peak at 36% (multi-cpu is on). Overnight noise is about 100-200Mbs TX on the outside interface with 2-6% CPU usage.
Currently it’s transmitting about 210Mbs / 23000pps with 1-3% CPU usage, maintaining 16234 connections. RX is currently around 26Mbs.
