Hi, I want to report a bug
Version: ROS v7.1b6 (i’m not able to try with older packages of the development channel because only the latest is available for download)
Device: Both on rbm33g and x86
Bug: when i connect an usb to ethernet adapter with chipset rtl8153b it is recognized as an lte interface instead ethernet
Check on v6: on v6 all works properly, recognized as ethernet and fully working
You can download previous versions if you hand-craft download links similar to the current one. For example: download link for x86 7.1beta6 Extra packages is
h> __> ttps://download.mikrotik.com/routeros/> 7.1beta6> /all_packages-x86-> 7.1beta6> .zip
If you change it to
h> __> ttps://download.mikrotik.com/routeros/> 7.1beta4> /all_packages-x86-> 7.1beta4> .zip
you get the older version.
I tried with 7.1beta1 and it shows the same problem, recognized as lte, i can’t download the 7.0 cd install with the same trick (maybe the notation is different)
Edit: I tried with 7.0beta5 and the bug is not present (the device is recognized as ethernet)
