Hello , i have a mikrotik x86 installed on my office with a static ip and a vigor drytek 2850 home with a dynamic ip .
Is there any way i could connect those devices through encrypted vpn ?
I’d like the mikrotik to be the server and vigor to be the client .
you can use PPTP with profile “default-encryption”, client is connecting to the server (in your case MKT), other side can be on dynamic ip

I tried that but i didn’t manage to connect theme .
I can connect 2 mikrotik routers with almost any vpn protocol ( l2tp , l2tp over ipsec, pptp and ovpn ) with the 2 mikrotik having dynamic ip .
I think my problem is the configuration of drytek .
I managed to connect them using mikrotik as a l2tp server and vigor as l2tp client no encryption !
Every time i try to encrypt the link , i get disconnected .
Is there any tutorial on how to setup ipsec with mikrotik having static public ip and an other vigor or Cisco rv series having dynamic public ip ?
