DSCP CHANGE

Hello how are you? I have a problem with changing DSCP on my PC.
The same is that I want to mark all packets with DSCP 46 on my PC, I tried two friends at home creating the following rule …

Well by creating that simple rule they manage to change the complete DSCP in all their packets but I can’t do it … When I create that rule and apply I keep getting the default DSCP on my PC why can it be?

I tried another PC in my house, I have Windows 10 default and the mikrotik with nothing previously configured … Thank you very much if you know what it can be.

What do you think to accomplish ? Is your home connected to a Internet Service Provider ? If so, do not bother trying to set DSCP46 (= EF , Expedited Forwarding) in the hope your packets would be better handled because the ISP will not act on this DSCP-value when it concern Internet traffic.

btw, you will have to provide more info to people on this forum, what model + RouterOS version you are using etc.
What topology are you using, perhaps small drawing or something.

BTw, on Windows 10 you should be able to “mark” it also by editing local policies.

Did you read & searched enough yourself ? If you do not really understand what you are doing, then QoS is really not for you!
