Hi,
I have a shiny new MikroTik router and am trying to configure QoS on a network for a Windows machine (I am using Lync). I grabbed the example “BrotherDust” QoS script and got that working and it is counting lots of packets, almost all of them with DCSP value of zero (a very few at 48). Then I configured Lync using Gpedit to set DSCP 46 on its outgoing packets, and I wiresharked it and confirmed they are being set successfully.
But the queues are not showing them in the counts for some reason? I assume that is a prerequisite for the prioritization to be working. Have I missed something? Is there an enable switch somewhere? Or maybe do I have to configure something on the incoming port to get those QoS values moved over?
Any ideas are welcome as I am kind of stuck now. Thanks in advance…
