I tried to google this on the web but found examples from old OS that wasn’t applicable any more and hoping to get definitive answers here.
Port 1 = ISP uplink
I created two bridges ports 2-5 and 6-10. I created separate IP Pools, addresses, networks and dhcp servers etc etc. I was hoping to have ports 2-5 be on one network (192.168.1.0/24) and ports 6-10 on a different network (192.168.5.0/24). I was hoping both networks could see the internet.
I know you can’t have master/slave ports in the bridge configuration any more. At first the dual bridge seemed to work but after awhile i saw some strange behavior. Does/can this work for having two separate networks?
I’ve never had to do this before on one of our networks. Hoping this can work, if not I’m guessing I’ll have to do vlans. I’ve never looked into MikroTik vlans before, can I assign ports 6-10 on a vlan?
Thanks in advance.
