Dual-Powering Mikoritk Board by DC Jack AND POE ???

Is it safe to dual-power the mikrotik boards for redundancy, by plugging a AC/DC power supply into the round DC Jack, AND using the POE, in case one fails the other will pick it up?

Just bought a RB/1100AH, I’d like to dual-power it for redundancy, except its current input is 12V, my POE is 18V, not sure if “mixing” the two will cause any harm.

it should be safe to power newer RouterBOARD devices with both plugs. RouterOS will use only one at a time. You can check this this way - plug power in one and measure if there is on another (plug in PoE measure on pext)
