Dual switch chip routers config best practices

Hello.

Are there any best practices for dual-switch mikrotik (2011, 3011, 1100ahx2, RB493G etc) configuration and use cases for this type of hardware?
I have experience with 951G. For example, one switch with master port and slave port group for lan and
first port and second eth for dual-wan incoming inet.

But how to effectively utilize two switch chips for small office or home use? VLANs also could be from ESXi server or wifi APs.

You can put bridge between the switches. Or do whatever fits your scenario.
