I have a weird issue and maybe someone has some input. I have two internet links one with pppoe and one with dhcp from cable. So the pppoe has a default route with a distance of 0 and the second wan link has a default route of a distance with 5. This is all fine but for some odd reason when i switch to the backup wan things work but then when I try to goto the main wan again some sites don’t load. I’ve done traceroute and everything I can reach the site but they just don’t load in my browser. For those who are asking yes i cleared my cache and restarted but no luck. Any thoughts?
Have you tried “Dont use peer DNS” for the DHCP client and set a static DNS for both the connections?
i can only set the dns once statically and they are both set to dont use peer dns
