Dual WAN with DHCP on RouterOS 6

Hi everyone!

I am currently learning about the Mikrotik world. I have a practice RouterBOARD 941-2nD router running RouterOS 6.34.2 (unfortunately, it cannot be updated to version 7 due to insufficient space).

I am learning about dual WAN, which I managed to set up with static ISP addresses and failover. Now, I would like to achieve the same with DHCP ISP addresses. I found a forum (http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/multi-wan-both-on-dhcp/154290/1) that describes how to obtain the current ISP gateway address. My problem is that this can supposedly be solved with a script in the DHCP client advanced tab, but there is no such tab in RouterOS 6, only in version 7.

Can this be solved in RouterOS 6?

try the latest V6 Long-term release 6.49.13

https://mikrotik.com/download

at the end of the webpage below all v7 releases you will find v6 releases

I know, like I said doesn’t have enough space

To free up space, you could remove some packages which you probably wouldn’t need like “routing”, “mpls”, etc.
