Dual WiFi Mesh

Hi all,

I’m looking to set up a WDS “Mesh” network accross a town, with each router using dual radios - a 2.4 GHz for clients to connect to and a 5GHZ for the backbone - i was wondering what settings i should use to do this? I followed the WDS mesh tutorial on the wiki and got it sorted wioth single radios OK, but what do i need to change to do dual?

Well the easiest way to do this is to put the 2.4 radio interfaces into AP-Bridge mode and then put them into the mesh bridge. If you want to setup multiple, virtual networks, then it gets more complicated. You can start with the easy setup and get a feel for that first.
