Since 6.27 - I can no longer update package via dude 3.6 - Missing version and/or Package information.
Does anyone else has this issue?
Below how it should be was working prior 6.27
Various things were changed in ROS and that broke old The Dude version ability to upgrade ROS devices and monitor some things. Only new v6.xx servers can perform these tasks now.
I have around 600 active probes; around 500 hours labor; dude on ROS currently not working very well, what are the options? MT trashing Dude 3.6 without alternative?
Alternative is in emerging phase. It is new 6.xx dude, but still not ready for real productive life… You need to wait.
migrated now - very good - did not lose any probes or device settings - the only thing it lost while export/import were the assigned images to the devices - fixable within 1/2 day.
There are still bugs in multi user access/modifications and refresh times with some client hanging for several minutes, but acceptable as usually those circumstances do no occur regularly.

Piggybacking on to this thread. I am running The Dude 3.6. I love The Dude 3.6! Attempting to run it on a Windows 10 machine, and it just does not work. Download and install were basic, but actually discovering devices on my network is not working. Discovery goes through its thing, but no devices appear. I have worked through numerous Windows Firewall options, double and triple checked that Network Discovery options were all turned on…and still nothing. I have scoured YouTube, Mikrotik Forums and still have not been able to find a workable solution. Just looking for some possible solutions to my problem. Thanks.
