we used Dude 4.0 and 4.0beta2 and facing same problem
if we customize any Devices-type for our other network devices they work fine and after restart dude also work fine, but when we add a new Devices-type and put that on map they work fine but lost all info after restart dude, after every restart of dude we need to create again new Devices-type for that hardware, but other all detail of that hardware not lost like map location where that located, link type, that icon working fine just without shoving device info.
