When network is scanned first time, the HP CM1415fnw printer (wired connection, not wifi) mistakenly defined as supporting RouterOS device.
This cause including “routeros management” probe to the list of active probes.
And, finally, this cause printer to restart every 10-15-20 minutes.
When “routeros management” service removed (actually, disabled) from the list of “supported” - printer stops to restart.
I have disabled this service, instead of removal, due to it is automatically re-appear if I have just removed it, do not know why…
Confirmed twice, on The Dude 6.49.2, and, after update (problem comes back), on 6.49.3.
if you discover devices some might give a false positive on some types of services.
In this case it is obvious that a HP printer does not run RouterOS and that probe should be manually removed.
Probably some port is answering and DUDE thinks it might be a MT device.
From that point it tries to connect to it as if it is a MT device.
Remove that RouterOS probe from the HP device and it should be ok
Perhaps even remove the RouterOS probe from autodiscovery
Or just disable the service and it won’t be rediscovered.
I’ve noticed that printers can go crazy with the amount of snmp requests, so you could also try setting snmp to a no-snmp profile (snmp version: none).
