We recently upgraded from Dude 2.2 to version 3.1. Ever since then the client has been intermittently freezing or hanging and crashing. This happens on several different computers and even when remote desktopping into the server. Sometimes the client will start functioning again and other times it will just crash.
I have tried uninstalling the client and re-installing. Server is running on Windows 2003 and client is on XP Pro.
We have not noticed the service hanging or freezing at all.
Anyone else having this issue or any advice for me?
I have just installed The Dude 3.6 on a new Windows Server 2003. The client hangs when I open the settings on certain devices it will hang the client. This has happened on Dude 3.4, 3.5 and 3.6.
When you experience a device that makes the client hang you can wait it out, takes more than two minutes. You can lessen this time by running the dude above normal priority. Anyhow once you get responsiveness back delete the device and then click undo. This somehow clears an error where SNMP has malfunctioned.
