Dude crashes on discover

Hello

Dude crashes my work computer every single time i touch the discover button. On my home computer it works perfectly (i share internet at home to 6 people). I got 2 weeks ago new computer at work and still the same problem. Pushing the Discover button, seeing 7..8 discovered devices and computer (2% discovered) restarts.

Event Viewer says:

It’s exactly the same error i got on my old PC. I suspect the LAN card, because its the only similarity between two of them.

OLD - Cele2.0/512MB(rimm)/Intel Pro/100 VE NIC/XP pro
NEW - D805/1GB/Intel Pro/100 VE NIC/XP pro

Can anyone make some intelligent guesses.

What’s the exact brand/model of NIC?

The new PC has integrated LAN

10/100 Mbits/sec LAN subsystem using the Intel® 82562G Platform LAN Connect (PLC) device

If I’m not mistaken then old one had:

I upgraded the drivers as well but nothing changed. Our company uses mainly intel based products (intel mobs and NIC-s) and the same problem is with the following motherboards integrated NIC.

And one of our clients (i work on a local company who puts togeather computers and sels them) who wants start managin his network (it grew from 30 pc to 140 pc and now the managment has grown over his head) has similar problems. Otherhand one of our clients is using Dude to manage 400 pc network on different parts of city and he’s not complaining.

should be fixed in the next release
