We recently had an outage on our Windows XP system that houses our Dude v3.6 installation following a prolonged power outage.
When power was restored the system seems OK except that the Database appears to have been truncated visually although the .DAT file appears much the same size as previously.
I’m thinking maybe the .IDX file has been corrupted. Moving the file to a new name causes the .IDX to be recreated, but doesn’t automatically re-index the database. I also then get an “Invalid Username/Password” error, password is set to default.
Anyone know how to re-index the Dude database?
Thanks in advance.
