We’ve been working with Dude off and on trying to get to know it. So far, no major problems.
Today I fired it up and everything came up green - GREAT! 10 minutes later everthing went red - DAMN! The remote backhaul at the AP was not responding.
Truck roll to the AP, reset/repower/blah/blah…RU comes up, responds to ping for 30 sec then dies…rinse-repeat…back to the shop.
Researching this forum, found similar behavior noted with Tranzeo and maybe one Trango. For me, with the Dude server running at the NOC admin machine, every time this Trango RU would come up, Dude would down it. (Background - this BH link has been up, flawlessly, for almost 3 years.)
Kill the Dude server - back to AP - monitor RU - stays alive and has been going strong since killing Dude (actually a little better 'cause while it was down I updated my MT, surveyed the 5.8 space with the MU and found a cleaner channel for the BH).
