I have had this happen over and over on two different devices. One was on a RB2011 and now on a RB750.
I took a RB750 and added the dude package, configured it to only ping one address, then sent the box to a customer to monitor their Internet connection. I went to look today and the entire config it gone… again. Same thing basically on the RB2011. I had to move that dude server to an x86 box so it didn’t lose it’s config all the time.
There is extra ram, extra disk space, low cpu usage.
Any ideas on how this happens or how to fix it? I would sure like to continue to use simple rb products to do this with.
