Dude make Apache Log Error

A few days ago till now, i was always checking my Apache Log server especially access & Log Error. As far as i know before i installed The dude there is no apache Log error like below, But after i install Dude , now my Apache is always shown error Like This:

[Tue Feb 28 10:01:51 2006] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23): /
[Tue Feb 28 11:02:21 2006] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23): /
[Tue Feb 28 11:02:51 2006] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] client sent HTTP/1.1 request without hostname (see RFC2616 section 14.23): /

I think it make a problem, cause each minutes my Apache always show error like that…Condition like that is not only at my web server, but every web server that monitoring with The Dude..( i was cheked it)..

Is there any solutions for that,or may be it being as The Dude bug that will be fixed soon in future…???

Thanks For attention, any help would be appreciated.

That’s the DUDE software scanning port 80.. set your scan interval higher and you’ll see less erors on your log server.. It’s not going to hurt anything… Just might make it a little more difficult to locate more relevent errors in the log..
