Can the dude be able to set the notification for only one service - ping because currently he is crashing me the status change for all services on the device, among other things. For the cpu device, this is often the result of non-data snmp and I would like to ignore this type of messages.
You can configure those details in Services tab of that device for entries to which you want different behavior. Disable notifications in device polling tab. Then in Services tab double click on service and change settings in notifications tab.
