dude on offline clients

In dude change log I saw:

*) Server package is now made smaller. Client side content upgrade is now removed from it and is downloaded straight from our cloud. So workstations on which client is used will require access to wan. Alternatively upgrade must be done by reinstalling the client on each new release;

Does I need wan access every time when I connect to dude server or only once when updates need to be downloaded?

Only when you need to update or you can download client form other PC and install it (all client settings will be saved)

Can I disable radius login to dude? I don’t want any radius user for pppoe be able to access dude?
