Just yesterday I installed a brand new RB1000 and installed The Dude to monitor 5 devices, and today I noticed the sector writes has gone through the roof, 11 million and climbing at the moment!
Yes, I know I should put the Dude database on a separate CF card, but this is a temporary setup and I didn’t have CF card at hand.
Is there anything I can do to Dude to reduce the number of writes? I don’t mind losing some history if the power fails, so some kind of ‘save to RAM’ would be great.
