Hi, I’ve tried to install dude under ubuntu (using Wine) but it work only as client, server don’t work…
Some good soul can help me? I’m a newbie with linux…

Dude has never worked well in linux (as a server) I have also had many problems with client crashing when running with wine. It is a Windows program, and unfortunately dosnt play well in a *nix environment. My recomondation is to keep it on windows. It does work fine if windows is a virtual machine.
I’ve been using the dude client in linux for awhile now. First in ubuntu 8.04, not sure what wine version. Now I’m up to 9.10 and wine 1.1.17 and it works great. The server I could never get working right in wine under linux, though.
