Dude Setup questions

Hello,

I have recently started working with Dude, and have ran into some issues as follows.

My setup is a RB2011 doing all the main routing, and x86 RouterOS for Dude server on a local subnet to the RB2011.

  • Every time I run discover with Dude, it keeps on identifying broadcast addresses as valid nodes (192.168.0.0, 192.168.0.255, 192,168.200.0, 192.168.200.255 as an example)

  • If I run discover on remote subnets, it identifies every ip as an active node with DNS (even if there is no device) and this is obviously only if dns service is enabled for discovery

  • There are times when it discovers other network segments, and other times when it doesn’t

I would like to ask for any suggestions on the above. There maybe a simple solution that I am not seeing, but since I am just learning Dude, its something new to get used to.

Thank you for any support!

The only solution that I can think of for the first item is a “blacklist,” but doesn’t seem very clean and perhaps there is something I am missing here.
