Hi,
I’ve found the Dude Beta 6 struggling with one of our Cisco Routers.
The Router is configured with SNMP and one Interface is monitored
and data shown on a link.
The Dude had 240kBit/s snmp traffic to and from this router. The cpu
of the cisco was at 80%.
Changing the link to type simple does not change anything.
Opening charts and deleting the Datasource does not work.
The datasource stays there without a message. The datasource
isn’t used anywhere else (link/chart).
Changing the router to non-snmp helps after a while. Then reenable
snmp works normal.
I think there is a bug in the SNMP-Gather function.
(I do not dare to monitor our Proxims with dude snmp as they booted at regular
intervals doing so. I think there is a problem of Proxim but with another snmp
tool they stay alive. So Dude do not like them )
