Hello world !!!
I am just trying (again) to get my Dude software working.
It runs on an x86@2Ghz. Should be enough.
First problem is :
- When my laptop running the Dude loses the wireless connection, the Dude just dies and forgets everything. All logins and settings are lost. Is there a way to avoid this ?
Usage problems :
- It does not discover all devices. The server itself can ping them, but the dude does not find them. All devices are MikTiks.
- Discovery finds a network, for example 10.128.55.0/24, shows a cloud symbol and drwas links to all devices in the subnet (like in this thread http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/dude-3-6-in-mikrotik-rb450g-not-sure-what-happen/107667/1). How can I make it discover the links between the devices ? (like https://mikrotik.com/img/mtv2/dude1.png
The manual says :
…When using the Discovery interface, links get added automatically…
, but this does noit seem to work
Already read most of the wiki/manual and other sites but did not yet find a solution.
Further info :
All devices are MikTik
SNMP is enabled on all devices.
ROS is 6.42.6 on all devices
On some stone aged x86 hardware the dude server package is installed.
TIA
