Hello,
I run a PPTP and L2TP server on my Mikrotik RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router. Right now it is on firmware v6.35RC.
Over a few days of use, I start seeing “inactive” connections to the router. I can manually remove those connections. But I would like to know if there is an automatic cleanup method or a script that can be run to clean up those inactive sessions?
Please see the attached image. The second column on the left will show either D (for dynamic) and DR (for dynamic, running). I would like to get rid of the “D” connections as they are no longer running.
Is this a bug in the firmware? I can’t find any option that allows me to get rid of inactive connections. I even tried setting the inactivity timeout to 5 minutes but that doesn’t clean up the inactive connections.
Thank you,
Rizwan
